Prof. Dr. Hua Cai is a highly accomplished researcher and innovator in the field of optical materials, with recognized expertise in special glass fibers, optoelectronic functional materials, and advanced photonic components. She is a Professor and Senior Engineer at the China Building Materials Academy in Beijing, where she plays a leading role in the Institute of Special Glass Fiber and Optoelectronic Functional Materials. Prof. Cai holds a Ph.D. in Optical Engineering and has built a strong interdisciplinary research profile that bridges optical physics, materials science, and device engineering. Her research focuses on the design, fabrication, and functional regulation of optical glass materials, particularly glass microchannel plates, scintillating glasses, and radiation-detection-related optical components.
