Assoc. Prof. Dr. Subhash Chandra Ram is an accomplished materials scientist and metallurgical engineer with extensive research and teaching experience in the field of advanced materials, composites, and metal casting technologies. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Tula’s Institute of Engineering and Management, Dehradun, India, he holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT (BHU), Varanasi, an M.Tech. in Materials Science and Engineering from MNNIT Allahabad, and a B.Tech. in Industrial and Production Engineering from IERT Lucknow. With 32 published documents, 230 citations across 174 indexed sources, and an h-index of 6, Dr. Ram has made significant contributions to the study of functionally graded materials (FGMs), metal and polymer matrix composites, wear analysis, and microstructural characterization. His research focuses on the mechanical behavior and process optimization of advanced composites, integrating optical microscopy (OM), SEM, TEM, and XRD techniques for structural analysis. Dr. Ram has published over 37 papers in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and conference proceedings, contributed to book chapters, and filed several patents related to composite materials and manufacturing technologies. His works have appeared in Composite Interfaces, Journal of Materials Engineering and Performance, Materials Today: Proceedings, and Silicon Journal. As a reviewer for leading international journals under Springer and Sage, he contributes to scientific quality and innovation in material science. Dr. Ram has also supervised postgraduate research projects and collaborated with academic and industrial partners in metallurgy and casting processes. His professional memberships include the Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), Electron Microscope Society of India (EMSI), and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). Known for his technical expertise, dedication to education, and contribution to metallurgical advancements, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Subhash Chandra Ram continues to play a pivotal role in shaping research directions in materials design, characterization, and sustainable manufacturing technologies.
