Prof. Hongzheng Zhu is a distinguished materials and mineral processing engineer, originally from Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. Currently a full professor and doctoral advisor at Anhui University of Science & Technology (AUST), he was recruited as a national “Class‑A overseas talent” and recognized as an outstanding young talent in Anhui. Since earning his doctorate in Mineral & Materials Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí in Mexico in 2019, he has become a key academic figure in teaching and research at AUST.

Prof. Zhu completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mineral Processing Engineering at Anhui University of Science & Technology before pursuing his Ph.D. (awarded in February 2019) in Mineral & Materials Engineering under the supervision of a Mexican Academy of Sciences member in Mexico. He now serves as a doctoral supervisor, guiding students in advanced mineral processing and material innovation.
